Wow, I’m really glad you’re still here. I know I haven’t talked to you in all of, oh, forever, but you posted this on facebook and I saw it and it made me sad. :( I would say I know how you feel, just ’cause I’ve had situations that made me hate myself that are somewhat similar to this, and I’ve also had thoughts about this kind of stuff, but I know that I don’t really know ’cause I’ve never acted on it. In any case, your english teacher sounds horribly mean, that hasn’t happened in hardly any classes I’ve been in thus far and there are kids far less prepared than you in many of my classes. Basically don’t let her get you down, it’s not your fault that you missed class and were uninformed. My best advice would be to read the syllabus thoroughly to see what you need and what is due when. That’s always been my best tool :) And keep your head up, the world can be a happy place! If you felt like reading Desiderata by Max Ehrmann, it’s the poem Ms. Creelman gave us before we graduated and it’s gotten me out of a lot of dark places. You can do this!
